Narsingh Rajput is a farmer and stays in Vasu village. He is 50 years old and is married to Mohan Bai. He has two children and both of them are married. His daughter is 20years old and his son is 18years old. His family relies on agriculture for livelihood. They rely on rainfall as there is scarcity of water for irrigation. Since they rely on rainfall for agriculture, they face grave financial problems if annual rainfall in a year is less than the average.
Narsingh Rajput had been facing health issues like weakness and body ache which made it difficult for him to do agriculture. He couldn’t go to the city for treatment because it was difficult for him to make two ends meet. He came to know about health camps organized by JJVS through his acquaintances. He went to health camp in his village where COVID protocols of social distancing mask and sanitization was followed. Free health check up and free medicines were distributed to the patients in the health camp. All the patients in the camp were given “kadha” which would protect them from seasonal diseases. Narsingh Rajput got free consultation & medicines in the health camp.
After following the doctor’s advice and taking the medicines timely his health improved considerably. Now he is able to work in the field without feeling tired. He is very grateful to JJVS for their timely support. He intends to support JJVS interventions in the community in future.
